2022 Victoria Park Chardonnay
Our wine takes its name from Victoria Park; the first settlers carved out of the rugged bushlands of Adelaide in south Australia. Named after Princess Victoria before being crowned queen, the park has become a place to relax and spend time with friends. We make wines that give true varietal expression from our unique growing climate, perfect to serve at your next picnic.
Tasting comments
Pale straw yellow in colour. Aromas of ripe nectarine, fig and nougat with accents of wild honey. These are supported by freshly cut hay and cinnamon spice complexities from wild fermentation. Medium bodied, the slightest hint of oak comes through on the palate as a hint of cinnamon and spice, highlighting the complexity derived from barrel matured reserve wine. Balanced acidity gives the wine thrust through to the refreshing finish.
